The annual DRR visit took place on the 26th of May 2019 at Coco’s Place, Colombo. The Rotaract Inter-Faith Ifthar 2019 hosted by the Rotaract Clubs of Kandy, Colombo Midtown, Colombo North, Colombo Fort, Colombo West, AOD, Cinnamon Gardens, Wattala, Singer Sri Lanka, IIT, ACBT and was held in the private residence of DRR Amjid Yoosuf. The objective of the project is to give the members of the Rotaract club of Kandy a brief idea on the procedures and steps that are taken after blood has been donated by a donor to the blood bank. We kicked started the programme at the Temple of the Tooth at 5.50 a.m. by taking part in the Kiri Ahara Pujawa. This was followed by a visit to the Katharagama Devala where we made an offering of a basket of fruits.
