Like everything, “Migration”, has both its advantages and disadvantages. Yet, higher rates of migration, create negative impacts on countries, leaving both the natives and the migrants to face various calamities.

On the eve of “The International Migrants Day 2019”, the Rotaract Club of Kandy along with the Rotaract Club of Junjunwala College (RID 3141), organized an online project, where facts and opinions on migration in Sri Lanka and India were shared with the public. At the end of the day, we could list down the common reasons that leads to migration and the negative outcomes of it. Then we came up with solutions to reduce the rate of Migrations in the future.

The project was successful since we were able to reach out to the public and alarm them about the seriousness of it; while sharing knowledge with them. We received many opinions from various individuals, through messages and videos that broadened our understanding regarding this matter.
