With the evolution of this competitive world, the people too have become extremely hard-pressed, which has led to a plethora of deadly diseases and accidents, moreover numerous disheartening life losses. The service sectors and NGOs throughout the globe are taking several efforts to make the global citizens aware of some depressing diseases, and the aftermath of people’s restlessness on the roads, which questions the life of many, as a result of lack of blood at a time of need. Thus, this life-saving project was designed to support the blood bank and the hospital staff in their noble venture on saving lives, by donating blood, and also to build peaceful co-existence between both the nations and their people. The Rotaract Club of Kandy in affiliation with the Assistant High Commission of India, Kandy, conducted the project “Blood Donation Camp” commemorating the 75th Independence Day of India. This magnanimous project was driven under the Community Service Avenue, on the 21st of January, 2022, at the E.L. Senanayaka Children’s Library, Kandy with the presence of the distinguished Chief Secretary of the Central Province. The project the Blood Donation Camp was successfully completed, with the hope to save more valuable lives in the coming years.
