Christmas is a time of joy, love, and giving. The Rotaract Club of Kandy and the Interact Club of Hillwood came together to spread some Christmas cheer and bring joy to the hearts of senior citizens. The two clubs organized a joint project titled ” Christmas Melodies” which aimed to celebrate Christmas with the residents of the Mahaiyawa Elders Home.

The project took place on the 30th of December from 9 am to 12 pm, and it involved singing Christmas songs and spending time with the residents. The two clubs decided to give a slice of cake and a short eat to everyone, including the staff who help out at the home. The project was a resounding success, and it brought a smile to the faces of the senior citizens. It was heartwarming to see the joy and happiness that the project brought to the senior citizens.

The project demonstrated the importance of giving back to the community and making a positive impact on the lives of others. It highlighted the power of love and kindness and the difference that they can make in the lives of those around us.
